Learn about Connected Cisco Store Technology with our Tech Expert on Instagram

This year, for the first time ever, we’re bringing the tech stack to attendees at home, with technology featured videos on Instagram to give attendees a glimpse into our living lab at the Connected Cisco Store in San Jose! Our technology expert, Brian Domine, will walk attendees through several of the featured technologies throughout the store and how they work together, including Cisco Vision digital signage, Fankave social media feed, and a brand new “Buy Online, Pick-up in store” solution!

Cisco Vision Digital Signage

Digital Cisco Vision screens enable us to display tailor-made experiences, such as featured Cisco Live content, marketing campaign videos and store promotions and advertisements, that can easily move across screens. Attendees will also see how through a partnership with Apple, a simple touch on an Apple Watch or iOS device can change this digital signage with just one click, transforming the entire store with ease and flexibility.

Fankave Social Media Feed

Attendees will also have the opportunity to see how Cisco Vision screens help users engage and share experiences with the Cisco Store! With the help of technology partner Fankave, digital screens in the store also display a social media feed that pulls content from multiple social media platforms. This allows users that mention the Cisco Store in their social media posts to see their content featured on the feed to share with everyone! View your featured posts in our virtual gallery here!

Buy Online, Pick-up in Store

For the first time ever, attendees will have the opportunity to learn what a “buy online, pick-up in store” solution at the Cisco Store looks like, with the help of Cisco DNA Spaces and Cisco Vision. Attendees will see how Cisco DNA Spaces recognizes devices that have previously connected to the Cisco Store network, so when Brian walks into the store, a message populates on our Cisco Vision screen asking if Brian is visiting the store to pick up an order. After responding on his own device, he’ll head to the back of the store where he can see where he is in line compared to the other customers, and finally pick up his order!

Attendees will also have the opportunity to virtually ask questions on Instagram to learn more about how they can implement some of these solutions in their own industries! Find the virtual technology tour video here!
